National Training Manager
(Maternity Cover)
Gekko has an exciting opportunity as a National Training Manager for one of our global clients! We are seeking a highly motivated and sales driven manager to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our global client. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, knowledge and advocacy through your training activities
Your Package

A salary of £40,000 per annum, plus 12% performance bonus

Company car or car allowance with additional expenses

Full time, 12 month contract (Monday - Friday)

22 days holiday in addition to bank holidays + buy and sell holiday options

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this position will be:

To empower the team with the skills and knowledge they need to excel, contribute to the organisation's success, and achieve their full potential, by creating a positive and engaging learning environment, delivering impactful training programs, and continuously measuring and improving output

Monitor and improve product knowledge levels through providing effective and engaging training sessions.

Use your experience and expertise to conceive ideas and build a training strategy to develop training programmes to further enhance engagement.

Sound like you? We’re looking for
The National Training Manager role is ideal for those who are able to demonstrate the following:

Degree or equivalent relevant experience
-
At least 5 years of experience in managing a training function or strategy, preferably within a retail setting

Experience in managing relationships with vendors and partners
-
Project Management experience where you have managed multiple activities with various stakeholders

The ability to prioritise, adapt and set realistic timescales in a fast paced environment

Experience and knowledge of the consumer electronics retail sector

Google Drive/ Chrome OS Knowledge and experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This position offers a 12 month maternity cover contract and will be one day a week (Wednesday) based in our Newbury office, one day in the field and three working from home.
