The Gekko Group is looking for a WordPress developer to join its growing team and assist in maintaining existing sites and driving new business for the agency through new site development & maintenance.
Your package:

Salary up to £32,000 + company bonus

Your role:
-
Managing and monitoring WordPress environments
-
Testing and deploying WordPress plugin updates
-
Content review QA
-
Custom development of in house WordPress plugins
-
WordPress theme editing
Do you have what it takes?
Fluent with website delivery with experience within a WordPress environment.
-
Excellent HTML, PHP and CSS skills
-
Extensive WordPress knowledge (building custom WordPress plugins)
-
Capable of working with and managing plugins and updates
-
Demonstrable portfolio of experience
-
A focus on quality and testing
-
Must be an effective communicator, able to work independently to achieve objectives within set timescales
Additional Desirable skills (non-essential)
Front end development experience
Version Control Git
MySQL experience
Knowledge of front end frameworks
SEO and Analytics experience
Processwire CMS
.NET framework
