Gekko is looking for an Administrator to join our IT team at our Newbury Head Office. This fantastic opportunity is suited to a tech enthusiast looking to work within a growing and diverse organisation to build on their knowledge and experience

As part of the IT team you will support with all aspects of administration, the role will require a determined, detail oriented individual with a primary focus on equipment details (ie make/model and serial numbers)) and tracking

Gekko offer a hybrid working solution to allow flexibility for all our employees, currently this role will require working at our Newbury office along with working from home on a weekly basis

Your Package

  • Salary £20,500 per annum (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday)

Your Role
The core responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Organising, identifying and tracking all equipment
  • Accurate data entry within our equipment system or other documentation
  • Organise Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recycling (WEEE)
  • Toner replacement and disposal
  • Support procurement of equipment and inventory for peripherals and consumables
  • Maintenance of meeting room IT equipment
  • Contribute towards software testing

The IT Administrator role will be perfect for you if you:

  • Excellent telephone and written communication is fundamental.
  • A team player, demonstrating the ability to learn and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver on individual projects.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Office and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS devices.
  • Prioritise and execute tasks well under pressure.
