HR Administrator


Gekko are recruiting for an HR Administrator to join the team. This opportunity is suited to a candidate with an understanding of HR looking to further their career within a growing and diverse organisation based at our Head Office in central Newbury. We are looking for a team member with the aptitude to work independently and the ability to manage deadlines across both Recruitment & Personnel teams

Reporting to the HR Director you will be responsible for undertaking tasks in relation to Recruitment & Personnel matters for all Gekko Group employees and new recruits

Your role

The core responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Working alongside the Recruitment Manager to support the recruitment of staff together with hiring managers to coordinate comprehensive and thorough induction programmes for all new employees, together with learning and development needs
  • Monitoring and evolving Personal Development Plans / Reviews for staff members, working closely with line managers and implementing training solutions where necessary
  • Reviewing and updating company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining absence reports across the Gekko Group and analysing records
  • Monitoring staff wellbeing and conducting risk assessments as applicable
  • Managing benefit schemes provided to all full time employees and co-ordinating accordingly
  • Managing, completing and responding to references in respect of employees
  • Issuing Work Place Pension communications, maintaining records and submitting reports as required
  • Completing miscellaneous administrative functions

Do you have what it takes?

The HR Administrator role will be perfect for you if you:

  • Have experience in Microsoft Office suite along with G Suite
  • Possess excellent written / verbal communication skills
  • Can demonstrate ability to prioritise based on Personnel needs
  • Have experience within a Recruitment & Personnel function
