Gekko are recruiting for an Administrator to join the HR/Personnel team. This opportunity is suited to a strong administrator looking to further their career within a growing and diverse organisation based at our Head Office in central Newbury. We are looking for a team member with the aptitude to work independently and the ability to manage deadlines across both Recruitment & Personnel teams

Reporting to the HR Director you will be responsible for undertaking tasks in relation to Recruitment & Personnel matters for all Gekko Group employees and new recruits

Your role

The core responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Working alongside the Recruitment Manager to support the recruitment of staff
  • Coordinating on-boarding experiences for new recruits
  • Monitoring and ensuring Personal Development Plans and Reviews for staff members are completed
  • Completing and responding to references in respect of employees
  • Recording staff absence
  • Communicating benefit schemes to employees
  • Issuing Work Place Pension communications and maintaining records

Do you have what it takes?

The HR Administrator role will be perfect for you if you:

  • Have experience in Microsoft Office suite along with exposure to Google Drive
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Possess excellent written / verbal communication skills
  • Can demonstrate ability to prioritise along with a flexible approach
  • Experience within a Recruitment & Personnel function is advantageous, but not essential
