Senior Training Manager - Global TV & Audio Brand

Working for Gekko on behalf of an established TV & Audio brand, we have an exciting opportunity to represent an innovative manufacturer establishing their brand across various retail channels.

This role involves working 2 days a week in the Windsor office as well as 3 days out in the field, across the south of the UK.

Working closely with the client, you will take the lead on training for the UK, creating content, delivering training and implementing strategies across their retail partners along with engaging and building relationships with key stakeholders on a daily basis.

Covering a portfolio of stores across the South of the UK, you will conduct regular store visits to engage with retail staff, conduct training, collate insight and highlight recommendations back to the business. You will also assist in the management, training & execution of field activity and promotions.

Experience of creating and delivering training content is essential. This role will appeal to candidates with both sales and training experience with a keen interest in technology and/or have an understanding of the retail channel.

Your Package

The package includes:

  • Salary £32,000 per annum (Monday - Friday)

Your Role

The core responsibilities of this position are:

  • Build and develop relationships with Channel Partners, Regional and store Managers

  • Design training strategies, create and deliver training content

  • Management of field based staff/activities

  • Support stores to maximise sell-through.

  • Ensure brand compliance across the region

  • Conduct accompaniments as required

  • Deliver out of hours training sessions as required

  • Experienced in training: Content creation, training delivery

  • Looking to take the next step in your career working closely with a client

  • Creative in your approach to develop training strategies in line with the retailers objectives

  • Interested in consumer electronics, especially TV and Audio

  • Seeking the autonomy and variety of a field based role

  • Have experience in proactively working towards set KPI’s

  • Hold a full UK driving licence

This position offers a 12 month contract covering the South of the UK, (ideal candidates would be based around the Windsor area)
