Training Executive


Gekko is a leading field marketing company providing results-driven solutions to technology brands. We have an opportunity to join the Gekko team working with our brand, a leading technology manufacturer, as a Training Executive.

Based in the field you will visit a number of retail partners across your given region, you will provide them with support and develop product/brand knowledge to maximise opportunities for our brand in the channel.

The key responsibilities as part of your role will include, but will not be limited to;

  • Visit retail partners in the field

  • Build relationships with store management and sales staff

  • Increase product knowledge through the delivery of effective and interactive training

  • Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives

  • Develop opportunities to increase product knowledge and sales skills
  • Merchandising and maintain POS

  • Providing informal and classroom based training sessions

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Sales and training experience (ideally in the technology sector)

  • Passion for technology

  • Ability to engage commercially

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full valid driving licence required as there is a company car as part of the package.

This is an initial contract until the end of December 2018 with possibility of extension, so we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to succeed.
