Distribution Business Development Executive

An exciting opportunity to join Gekko’s field marketing team as a Distribution Business Development Executive with a global manufacturer and marketer of printing and imaging products.

Based in the field, covering a portfolio of accounts you will work with distributors and large B2B accounts to drive sales through a diverse portfolio of resellers and customers. Reporting directly to the Distribution Sales Manager, you will also assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives energizing partner sales to maximise commercial opportunities. The key criteria of success will be the successful growth and establishment of sales pipelines within your account base.

Duties of the Distribution Business Development Executive role will include but not limited to;

  • Develop key business relationships on the sales floors

  • Drive sales and hit growth targets across your allocated accounts

  • Proactively looking to acquire new business with distributors

  • Complete floor walking initiatives to increase knowledge and brand awareness

  • Utilize a multi-channel national team of BDE’s to develop a national reach to develop new and existing pipelines

To be a success in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Understanding of distribution channel

  • Passion for technology

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage commercially

  • Proven sales record with in IT channel
